How to Use Dr Water Loo

Take the treatment out of the box and crush the tablets while they are still inside the plastic bag.

Mix the crushed tablets with 2–4 litres of water, then pour the mixture into the pit latrine, toilet inlet, or septic tank.

Repeat the treatment every 12–14 days for a household of 5–8 people.

Schools, clinics, and offices will need to be treated more often because more people use these toilets and latrines.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To ensure maximum effectiveness, do not use this product together with harsh chemical cleaners such as Jik, Jeyes Fluid, OMO, Sunlight Liquid, or strong bleaches. These chemicals will destroy the natural microbes and stop the waste breakdown process.

Pit Latrine

( Household of 5-7 people )

Dr Water Loo product

Use 1 treatment pack per application for a pit latrine

1 treatment = 1 brown +1 white tablet

Application

Crush the tablets inside the plastic packaging bag..
Mix these crushed tablets with 2-4 Liters of water.
Pour this mixture directly into pit latrine /toilet.

Note:

Repeat every 12- 14 days for a single homestead
When used at higher volume of people at clinic or farms increase the dosage to every 5-7 days

Best for:

Rural homes and bucket systems and places is no flow through to a septic tank

Large Septic Tanks

For septic tanks larger than 3 000 liters

Important: use the tablet treatment in toilet/latrine in combination with the liquid treatment.

Dr Water Loo product

1 x 20 litre Dr Water Loo treatment + 3 white tablets,
Use 1 treatment pack per application for a pit latrine
1 treatment = 1 brown +1 white tablet

How to use:

Open 20 Litre container and pour directly into the large septic tank,
Crush 3 white tablets and mix with 15 litre of water and then pour into large septic tank.
Crush the Dr Water Loo tablets inside the plastic packaging bag.
Mix these crushed tablets with 2-4 Liters of water,
And pour down the toilet once every 7-10 days

Repeat

Big school and clinics repeat the 1 treatment per toilet 2 x a week,and
The 20 litre Water Loo every 30 days.

Best for:

Medium size communities , large school by pupil numbers ,clinics and lodges that have large septic tanks.

Small Septic Tanks

Use 1 treatment pack per application for a pit latrine

1 treatment = 1 brown +1 white tablet ( up to 3000 Liters)

Use according to the size of the septic tank and how many people are using the toilets:

In 1 household ( 4-7 people ) use treatment once a week in toilet—it will run into the septic tank;
If in clinic /school or higher volume of people—combine by using weekly in toilets or drop 3 treatments in septic tank weekly

Application

Crush the tablets inside the plastic packaging bag.
Mix these crushed tablets with 2-4 Liters of water.
Pour this mixture directly into latrine which will flow to small septic tank.
OR pour directly into small septic tank ( smaller than 5 000 liters )

Best for

Household with flow from latrine to small septic tank or french drains
small schools ,clinics, staff toilets ,lodges

Note:

for higher usage by people at small clinics ,small schools the lodges,
use 2 treatments every 5-7 days
